OSKAR BLUES BREWERY

342 Mountain Industrial Dr, Brevard, NC

Funky little Oskar Blues Grill & Brew started 15 years ago when Dale Katechis and his high school sweetheart stumbled across the small town of Lyons, Colorado, while on a road trip north from their home in Alabama. That Rocky Mountain trip continues back east as Dale finds the same down home feeling in the rolling hills of Pisgah National Forest of Brevard, North Carolina. In addition to the lifestyle and culture in North Carolina, we sell over 35% of our beer out thatta way, east of the big muddy river. With that much beer traveling east, it allows us to engage with another small town that feels like home. Brevard rings true with the same eclectic mountain charm that inspired Oskar Blues to put Dale’s Pale Ale in a can back in the day in Lyons. Brevard and Lyons share a small town main street tone mingled with live music and an energy emerging from the surrounding hills. Now you can swing by The Tasty Weasel Taproom and grab a fresh beer or try specialties everyday of the week. Check out our BEER EXPLORER here or check our our FULL list of beers here!
