Below are lists of regional guides and outfitters, arranged by county, who sell gear, lead trips, and offer shuttle services for paddling (and some for angling) on the French Broad. Note that there are other entities within the region who sell relevant gear and provide applicable services, however these are our favorites, and are the closest to the river. If you're seeking guided angling trips (trout, muskie, smallmouth bass, etc.), we recommend you search for those services separately from this list of paddling-oriented outfits. If we're missing someone who should be on this list, please let us know.

MULTI-DAY PADDLE TRIP GUIDE SERVICES

Want someone to help plan and outfit your camping trip or guide you down the river? While there are currently no businesses that consistently offer overnight guide services, MountainTrue's French Broad Paddle Trail staff can help you put together an itinerary for free, and can be hired to join your group on the water to assist with shuttle, boats, navigation, meals, shelter, etc. Email Jack at jack@mountaintrue.org if you're interested, and we'll make something happen!
